Horse drum mandala

This 45 cm drum with a mandala at the back
is made of horse skin and an elm fame.
Traditional style, fixed drum.
In the handle is a a Dakota Goldstone.
Goldstone is glass with flecks of copper suspended in it.
The glass is made in a reducing furnace with copper salts added;
the copper platelets suspended within the glass gives the material its characteristic glitter.
Goldstone has been around since the European Renaissance and stories say it was
discovered accidentally by Venetian monks. It is also known as sandstone.
Metaphysical Properties: Known as the “Generator Stone,” goldstone is often used
for healing and protection.
