Double headed horse drum

Description

Double headed shamanic drum with mango wood frame and horse skins.

Decorated with owl feathers, as one side of the drum represents the upper world

and with a part of the tail to represent the lower world.

The beauty of a double headed drum is that when you play one side, the other

side will resonate as well.

The side with the manes has a beautiful deep sound in the centre, and a higher sound

on the sides of the drum, as this part of the hide is much thinner.

The other skin is much thicker and gives a very deep sound.

The frame is 40 cn/16 inch.
